The annual Medallion Congress provides a forum for medal enthusiasts to meet other collectors,  learn about their research and share ideas. The event takes place at a hotel near Warwick, which is a convenient location for members to travel to. Delegates gather on a Saturday morning – or Friday evening if travelling from a distance – to hear talks on a wide range of subjects related to historical and commemorative medals and medallions (military medals are never included). The day includes ample coffee and meal breaks, making it a true social occasion. After the evening meal, a bourse is held where members can browse and acquire new pieces for their collections.
